Note that this stock varies and includes some end-of-bolt cuts of material, which means there may not be enough of some prints for adult sizes or multiple sets. Also be aware, as we have stated through the site, we are a smoke-free but family-friendly small business, which means our fabrics coexist with children, cats, and dogs. Cotton jersey is light-to-mid weight, soft and drapey. It's usually 95% cotton and 5% spandex for stretch. It's great for children's clothes, tops, dresses, and loungewear. We have dyed and printed jersey in bright and colorful patterns that celebrate childhood and nature!
We also have cotton jersey fabric in solids!
French terry is a mid weight knit fabric with small, soft loops of yarn on one side. It's usually 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The small loops provide moisture wicking and make this fabric extremely versatile and comfortable, great for layering in all weather. It's a low maintenance fabric that doesn't wrinkle, and it makes very comfortable loungewear. We have prints and solids available!
This 100% cotton french terry has less stretch and recovery than the 95% cotton/5% spandex. Most of our 100% cotton french terry has large loops of yarn on one side, for an even more cozy feel. It's best suited for looser fitting clothing (think raglan hoodie and joggers rather than tank top).
Bamboo rayon jersey is extremely fluid, soft and drapey. It's well-suited for warm weather and even has a "cool" feel to it when touched. It's 95% rayon/viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex, so it's good in flowy tops, skirts, and loungewear. Bamboo needs some more attention than cotton and wears longest when line-dried.
This is another stretch french terry (5% spandex) with small loops on the back. It's softer, smoother, and more absorbent than the cotton stretch french terry. Bamboo needs some more attention than cotton and wears longest when line-dried.
Our cotton box waffle is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. It's extremely soft and squishy and comfortable. It has amazing stretch and makes great thermal layers and loungewear.
We sometimes have fabrics that are 100% cotton, such as interlock and slub. These materials typically have less stretch and/or less recovery than the spandex jersey and would be good for loose t-shirts and baby clothes.
